mahogani media photography specializes in pure/natural images. which means we get your image right the first time, so there is no need for retouching, photoshopping or graphic additions to enhance the photo.
we believe that a photographer's eye is why they are paid for their services and the base image should be able to stand alone. mahogani media makes sure it does.

WHERE WILL I TAKE MY PHOTOS?
All event photography is taken at the event. Wedding photography is taken on location at the rehearsal, ceremony and/reception. Portrait sessions are taken at several outdoor locations around the Shreveport-Bossier area. (We can find any location to suit your needs). We also have access to an indoor studio (there will be a $10 additional charge for studio sitting fees, up to 5 people).
SO, HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Group and individual protraits sessions (for singles, couples, families, musicians, etc.) runs $35 per half hour. You can also book a 45-minute session for $55 or an entire hour for $70.
Each session includes a photo CD of all the images taken. The number of images taken depends on you!!! The minimum is usually somewhere between 30-50 images.

Event photography is billed per hour at the rate of $50 per hour (1 hour minimum for booking).
For events that just want us to show up and do a post on our blog (http://www.aroundthesbc.com/) we just ask for free admission to the event.
We DO NOT come to events and set up backdrops for partygoers to purchase traditional club photos.
Our photography showcases the event in a more candid fashion, reminding those who attended of the fun they had, and those who didn't attend of what they missed! Go HERE to see examples of our event photography.
Publicity photography (for actors and musicians) goes at the same rate as portrait sessions.
Wedding photography is a bit more costly (and requires a deposit and contract). Pricing depends on how long the photographer will be needed. We do work with couples on budgets, offering a package as low as $200 (which includes a photo CD). Contact us at mahoganimedia@gmail.com for pricing.
HOW WILL I VIEW MY PHOTOS?
All photo sessions come with a free photo CD that you may pick up within 24 hours of your session (or it can be mailed to you).
Your images can also be posted (by request) on our Photobucket site. There you, family and friends can order prints through the site at discounted prices that can be picked up at any Target photo lab in the country!
Many images will be used by mahogani media for business promotional use. But only the subject and mahogani media will have access to ALL of the images.
Event photos will be posted on our Photobucket site within 72 hours of the event. Photos can also be viewed and promoted on our blog (www.aroundthesbc.com) and posted to other online media outlets (like The ShreveportTimes.com).
